Over the past 40 years, AVA's commitment to providing top-quality meals for on-the-job Arkansans has made us a leader in fresh foods for the workplace.

Our commitment to quality and freshness starts in our own commissaries, where we prepare thousands of fresh entrees each week. Each one is prepared by hand, using only the finest, most wholesome ingredients. For instance, 100 percent pure ground beef in our hamburgers - no filler.

Attractively garnished, our entrees are hermetically sealed and delivered to your place of business in insulated containers — fresh, never frozen.

And we keep variety in our product line by continual menu rotation, based upon close observation of our customers' purchase patterns and comments.

AVA is a qualified member of the Heart Smart International program. Items marked with a Heart Smart logo are 30% or fewer calories from fat, 10% or less calories from saturated fat, 150 mg or less cholesterol, and 1,100 mg or less sodium. Heart Smart items on our sample menu are marked with a .

Who's In Charge Of The Food

Pat Maher, Vice President for Food-Service

A lifetime veteran of the food-service industry, before joining AVA as Vice President, Pat has held many sought-after positions, including:
  • Division Manager for theme restaurants at Dobbs International, with total responsibility for the operation of 18 restaurants

  • Vice President for Food-Service Systems at the headquarters office of Holiday Inn

  • He also opened The Hitchin' Post restaurant and The Pampered Pig Catering Company in Millington, Tennessee.
Pat's responsibilities include developing quality specifications for our recipe ingredients, developing new recipes and implementing a monthly bid system for raw food purchases. With Pat's leadership, AVA continues to hold its reputation as Arkansas' premier industrial caterer.
